#Guillotined eggs from Transylvania 6-5000

A light and inviting luncheon of grapefruit and sandwiches as well as a creative way to chop the tip of an egg using a guillotine. The humor in this movie is non-sensical and quite random and the story is about two journalists who go to Transylvania to find Frankenstein. It's an 80's movie that mocks horror cliches and manages to be lovely and silly at the same time.

#Siberia cake from The wind rises

I was intrigued by this delightful and good looking cake, apparently it's a very old kind of cake that was invented in Japan during the Meiji era and lost some of its popularity, however Hayao Miyazaki's movie helped it regain the spotlight again. The cake is made of two parts of sponge cake with jelly inbetween and must be great with some tea.

#Boiled Potato from Everything is Illuminated

An interesting movie about a young man who goes to Ukraine searching for the woman who saved his grandfather's life during the WW2. There are a lot of quirky, original and sometimes akward moments that add some humour to the story. The main character is unique and captivating. He is a vegetarian and a collector of many different things and sometimes potatoes.
