The story of Marc Cros, a sculptor who lives with his wife in a pretty and peaceful cottage somewhere in France. They give shelter to a beautiful young woman who has escaped from a spanish prison camp and in exchange for shelter she works as a model. It's all about the love for art, the somewhat touching beauty of the naked human body and the simple yet almost holy process of eating a simple slice of bread drizzled with pure olive oil.
