The first movie of the well known trilogy by Kieslowski that is based on : Liberty, equality and fraternity, France's national motto and it depicts the colors of the flag, blue, white and red. The story focuses on Julie, a young woman who recently lost her husband and daughter and is coping with that loss, she passes through the various stages of grief, has dreams and memories she desperately tries to live with. A delicate film that captures the loss of people who were not only in our life but were our life.
