So many beautiful colors. This movie has a wonderful and surreal atmosphere, the story gets a little bit tangled at times but the animation is so stunning that it does not matter that much. The story narrates the story of Sophie, an insecure and somewhat shy girl who becomes extremely old because of a curse a witch casts on her, so she begins a journey and meets a wizard who may or may not help her but the fact is that the wizard cooks good looking bacon and eggs. Having breakfast like that in a moving castle is pretty amazing.

#Ice cream from Frances Ha
Frances does not have a plan. She appears to be unable to grow up emotionally and has some commitment issues. She wants to be a professional dancer but she does not apply herself as much as she should, instead she makes an impulsive decision to go a weekend to Paris where her loneliness truly shows. Sometimes she is awkward, other times she is sweet. That's an outline of Frances Ha the main character in this movie that is essentially a character study, we either symphatise with Frances and want her to succeed or we find her obnoxious and upsetting, it's kind of hard to feel neutral about Frances. Sometimes she cooks late at night for her friends and likes to share ice creams. She reminds me of lavender ice cream but I'm not sure why or how.

Boiled fish from Birdemic : Shock and terror
In life, sometimes, it's hard to see the silver lining in things, something that is good and positive in the middle of a terrible mess, but in movies it's easier and kind of fun as well. That's why I wanted to watch this movie, it's considered to be one of the worst movies recently made and probably ever made, not really sure, but that was one of the reasons, that and the spectacular title. I was really hoping to see flocks of mad birds attacking people, etc but that only happens after 47 minutes in the movie because before we were being introduced to the main characters, an ambitious salesman and a blonde model, they fall in love but will their love resist the outbreak of the birdemic? Maybe, I was more interested in the birds.

#Mutant food from ExistenZ
When you are in a restaurant sometimes it's nice to order the "special" but if you are in a David Cronenberg film that can be distressing, you can end up with a large tray of simmered "two-headed mutant lizard" on a bed of lettuce and if you do eat it up you can use the remains to build a gun. It's like a creepy kinder surprise. The story begins with Allegra Geller, a successful virtual games designer who has created a radical new way of gaming by inventing a console that is a living organism and can be plugged directly into the gamer's spinal cord. The movie is brilliant in drawing a thin line between virtual reality and reality, which one is which, what is real? I dunno. I know the "special" may not be in the real reality because I couldn't find a recipe for it.
