#Lonesome pesto from La grande belezza (The great beauty)

This movie was funny but also a bit sad like a depressing satire. The soundtrack and imagery are quite amazing and lavish serving the purpose of showing the wealthy elite of Roman society, they go to big parties, awkward art shows, a doctor's office who looks like the David Lynch's Blacklodge and other upsetting but visually stimulating places. The story focuses on Jep Gambardella a writer whose last and only book was 40 years old ago and a masterpiece of some kind but that is now resigned into being a journalist, he is not satisfied and appears to be very cynical among friends and acquaintances but he secretly searches a purpose both in his past and present. There is also a giraffe and a plate of profiteroles.
